Training Providers have a duty of care to ensure that learners following training programmes with them are kept safe from potential harm – this is commonly known as Safeguarding. Safeguarding is essential to ensure the development and well-being of young people and adults alike. The potential harm that can affect learners is wide-ranging and includes things such as bullying, exposure to extremism, inappropriate supervision and unsafe workplaces or working practices.

  1. We have a designated Safeguarding Officer who you can speak to should you have any concerns. Please call the office on 01423 536672 or email and a member of the team will arrange for them to contact you.
  2. We have a clear policy and procedure in place. Please click here to read the document online.
  3. All staff have an up to date, enhanced DBS certificate.
  4. As a company we ensure all staff undertake regular CPD in Safeguarding at a level appropriate to their role.
  5. We cover a range of subject areas in Teaching and Learning Sessions.
  6. When we begin working with an employer, we conduct a thorough Health and Safety Initial Assessment which is recorded and held at Head Office. This is then reviewed on an annual basis.
