This apprenticeship qualification has been developed to provide individuals with the opportunity to develop the skills, knowledge and experience they will need to progress to higher level roles with additional responsibilities in a variety of business settings. The Pearson Edexcel Level 3 Diploma in Management is an NVQ/Competence based qualification.
It is likely that apprentices working towards achieving this level will have some prior experience in a supervisory or team leader role, or experience deputising in a managerial role to allow them to complete the qualification although this is not a formal requirement.
FW Solutions Ltd require initial assessments in Maths, English and ICT to be completed. This is to assess the level of all applicants.
Apprenticeship qualifications are delivered in the workplace. You will be allocated a personal Teaching and Learning Co-ordinator and will have access to our on-line study area where you will find all your learning materials. Your Teaching and Learning Co-ordinator will provide you with personal tutorial support and assessment at pre-arranged times. Assessment is through a variety of methods including observations in the workplace, witness testimonies, product evidence, professional discussions, assignments and project/case studies. All evidence will be logged to your electronic portfolio of evidence.
Achievement of this qualification will enable you as a qualified apprentices to progress onto the Level 4 NVQ Diploma in Management or undertake other Business and Management related qualifications at a Higher Education level. They may be able to progress in their careers to roles such as senior manager or department manager.
GLH – Guided Learning Hours
Your efforts will be rewarded throughout the process, as you will receive a separate certificate for each qualification you achieve, as well as receiving a certificate once you have completed and achieved all aspects of your Apprenticeship programme.
As your learning provider we will help to coordinate your Apprenticeship and develop skills and knowledge, while your employer provides the practical experience to put those skills to the test.
