Provide high standards of quality within the setting including the environment, resources and experiences offered to children.
Maintain accurate children’s records
Work in partnership with parents/carers and other family members making them feel welcome whenever they enter the nursery
Demonstrate good practise with regard to special needs and inclusion
Ensure that children are kept safe and understand safeguarding procedures
Have a good understanding of British Values and Prevent Duty
Ensure the nutritional needs of the children are met
Comply with the statutory framework for the EYFS and relevant legislation including the Children Act 1989 and 2004.

To ensure that the provision of childcare meets the needs of the individual children from differing cultures and religious backgrounds and stages of development
To promote and work to Health and Safety standards and upkeep hygiene and cleanliness standards at all times.

We strive to provide the children with opportunities to grow and develop including many visits out and about, exploring the forest and indoor locations (covid dependant) We take the children swimming, do messy play, baking, singing and dancing and lots more. We need someone who is adventurous, fun, caring and shows initiative.

Apprenticeships are delivered in the workplace and 20% of your working time will be dedicated to ‘Off the Job Training’. You will be allocated a personal Teaching and Learning Co-ordinator and will have access to our online study area where you will find all your assessment materials.
Your Teaching and Learning Co-ordinator will provide you with personal tutorial support and assessment at pre-arranged times.
Assessment is through a variety of methods including observations in the workplace, witness testimonies, product evidence, and professional discussions. All evidence will be logged to your electronic portfolio
