Kids at Heart owner and general manager Julie Shaw is passionate about high quality childcare and back in 1994 she created the first Kids at Heart Nursery to provide the most comfortable, safe and stimulating environment in which to do so. Tasty, nutritious meals are lovingly prepared by our on-site chefs everyday using the freshest, high quality, locally sourced produce… the children even grow some of it! A healthy lifestyle is firmly established throughout Kids at Heart and we teach your child about self-care, making informed choices and understanding the fundamentals to managing their own health.
Our vision of this is to positively promote exercise through physical play, alongside carefully planned seasonal menus and snacks. We want to give our children the best start to the day so they can enjoy a healthy breakfast at all our settings. At our Nurseries we then offer a choice of healthy mid-morning snacks like homemade houmous with crudités, milk or water and a hot two course meal at midday. Kids at Heart care for babies through to teenagers. They provide opportunities and experiences in which children can develop within a structured, loving and professional environment, cared for by experienced and dedicated staff at all settings.
Kids at Heart is an equal opportunity employer, encouraging all staff to extend their own personal development. The company has Post Graduate Early Years Professionals to lead and support staff teams.
