Who is this course for?

This level 4 apprenticeship qualification has been developed to provide individuals with the opportunity to develop the skills, knowledge and experience they will need to progress to higher level roles with additional responsibilities in a variety of business settings. The Pearson Edexcel Level 4 Diploma in Management is an NVQ/Competence and BTEC/Knowledge based qualification.

Entry requirements

The Level 4 Diploma in Management has been designed to be suitable for supporting the professional development of apprentices from any sector or industry, and as such, is a suitable progression route from almost all advanced Apprenticeships. It is expected that level 4 higher apprentices will also have some experience of working at a junior or middle management level.

Apprentices working at this level are expected to have at least Level 2 literacy and numeracy skills. FW Solutions Ltd require initial assessments in Maths, English and ICT to be completed. This is to assess the level of all applicants.

 

How you'll be assessed

Apprenticeship qualifications are designed to be delivered in the workplace. You will be allocated a personal Teaching and Learning Co-ordinator and will have access to our on-line study area where you will find all your learning materials. Your Teaching and Learning Co-ordinator will provide you with personal tutorial support and assessment at pre-arranged times. Assessment is through a variety of methods including observations in the workplace, witness testimonies, product evidence, professional discussions, assignments and project/case studies. All evidence will be logged to your electronic portfolio of evidence.

What you can do next

Higher Apprentices, with support and opportunities in the workplace, can progress onto the Level 5 Higher Apprenticeship in Management & Leadership or undertake other Business and Management related qualifications at a Higher Education level. Higher Apprentices may be able to progress in their careers to positions such as senior management or director level roles.
